I agree with you, malpenguin. The problem is unfortunately that, as in all matters, it is the craziest that seem to sadly garner the most attention. We nearly entered a depression, our country is sliding on almost every benchmark, and instead of discussing how to deal with these issues our media spends most of its time shouting at one another and giving the loons all of the attention. I’m personally a pragmatist. I don’t care who has an idea as long as it works.

Here’s the thing. Most intellectual and reasonable people don’t come to youtube to debate. Since the more intelligent people won’t be here anytime soon, I am happy to debate the issues with you in a civilized objective manner. I am a conservative teabagging tea partier. I do have liberal ideas as well, but all of my beliefs are aimed towards freedom.
I highly doubt any of the people that you speak of truly believe that Obama is Hitler. They are just the confused ones.

We don’t get a vote, just the appearance of one. Just as we don’t get a say in which bills are passed. The American people are being misrepresented because the government doesn’t represent the people anymore. They represent their office and their own specific needs and agendas. The Republicans and Democrats alike are to blame.

1. Hitler tried to sieze power through a failed revolution (google “beer hall putsch”)
2. Hitler arranged to have the Reichstag (german equivalent of our Capitol building) set on fire so he could blame others and SIEZE power.
3. Let’s not forget starting a War, the holocaust, etc.
Obama has done NONE of these things. Obama is NOT a dictator, he was voted by the people. Learn how our government works.

It is yet to be detiremined if Obama is the lawful President of the USA.What is the penalty for usurping the position of President ? Is that like treason ? Is it an offence to call for the death of an illegal usurper according to lawfull judgement of the courts ? I’m not from USA but even I wonder why he just doesn’t show his birth certificate and end the controversy,or is this another unquestionable thing like the holocaust or the catholic stance that the sun rotates around the earth ?

Since you should have written “lack of empathy”, apathy is the correct single word replacement in this case and renders the meaning of the sentence correctly.
