You can up here in Alaska too, just this morning I was in Arby’s eating and some dude walked in with a should holster on. The only law is that they cannot be carried in federal buildings and a background check has to be done. Other than that, no registration, no need for a carry license, no laws after you buy the weapon. I believe Vermont is the same way.

I think the AK is a socialist weapon, made to send a collective of soldiers out in the field in attack mode.
A well-regulated militia is more like a collection of individuals shooting at lower ranges at higher accuracy in building combat. Surely in those environments M-16, M-15 are far superior to a top-down commanded militia with AKs.
If the end fight is in Washington D.C., I recommend semi-automatic assault rifles of good quality, like Colt or Marlin, to us.

the guy knows his stuff with the exception of the comment that cops dont know it is legal to carry an unloaded gun in plain view. all cops know that and no, you cannot get arrested unless you are do something stupid with your legally carried gun. Any cop can stop and ask you to hand your gun over for inspection (for compliance) and YOU HAVE TO, if you dont, you can be arrested.

Yeah, the most ridiculous part about the whole gun control issue is, they think if they take away the law abiding citizens weapons that it’s going to make a difference. Well it will as more good people will not be able to defend themselves against the criminals who will STILL have guns. yeah i don’t know. look at all those people standing around him, none of them look scared and they clearly are not armed. I think the point is they take the image of having a gun too far. everyone that owns a gun even powerful one’s get the imaged passed onto them that their bad people and this obviously isn’t the case. gang members are another story but they shouldn’t get to own guns. there’s too much profiling and reaction from law enforcement.
