The point of the stimulus bill is to put money into the economy because no one is spendin. If no one is spending then no one is buyin goods or services meaning jobs get cut meaning ppls business will get shut down. I believe this is excatly wot is needed and it takes time. If there is a spending freeze like the GOP is sayin then we are def gonna get worse. does Pres Hoover ring a bell

Take a look at the Preamble to the Constitution. If politicians stuck to those jobs and nothing else, we would have a far better country. In addition Congress should take a page from the playbook of the Founding Fathers and look upon politics as a part time government function and go find themselves real jobs. Only meeting when their was actually a matter needing their attention.

Racism is indeed alive and well in the U.S. as it is in every country. BUT, it is not nearly as prevalent in the instutional areas of the country as it once was. Until you have the ability ot go inside every individuals brain and flip that switch that turns off learning, there will be individual racism. Racism is not a White on Black action. Racism between people is universal. White on Black discrimination is present just as Black on White discrimination exists.

I am not a Republican but I am an American and a Conservative. I agreed with the war on terrorists, i did not agree with the current government bailouts. I do not object to higher taxes but I do object to higher taxes when the bulk of the taxes are going to earmarks that have no purpose other than to secure politicians jobs.
